Day 1: South Carolina to New Jersey

If you've ever traveled up or down the east coast, you may have seen some billboards for South of the Border. It's a crazy complex of attractions with many different buildings including a reptile house, amusement parks, restaurants, and shops. We were in a hurry to get to Massachusetts, so we couldn't spend much time here, but we plan to come back on the trip home. The one place I really wanted to go was the "Hats Around The World" shop. Besides lots of hats, they also had a bunch of wacky souvenir-type things and some dinosaurs in sombreros... because they had to keep with the Mexican thing, I guess.

So happy togetheeeeeeer!

Rawr, motherfuckers.

So this is my road trip outfit; only the most comfy pieces will do! These pants are one of my all-time favorite thrift-store finds. They're so cheery and fun! Add a soft tee, a soft bra, and easy-to-kick-off sandals and that's how you do road trips like a Glad Racker.

The boyfriend demonstrates his enormous noggin.
